2. Hosting (INWX)

This website is hosted by INWX GmbH, Prinzessinnenstr. 30, 10969 Berlin, Germany, on servers in Germany.

When you visit the website, the host automatically processes technically necessary data transmitted by your browser (server log files): IP address, date and time of access, page or file requested, referrer (previously visited page) and browser and operating system (user agent).

• Purpose: delivering the website and ensuring its stability and security.
• Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in providing the website in a technically error-free and secure manner.
• Data processing: We have concluded a data processing agreement with INWX in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR.
• Retention period: The log files are deleted as soon as they are no longer required for delivering the website and ensuring its security.

3. SSL/TLS encryption

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as enquiries you send us via the contact form, this website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by https:// in your browser’s address bar and the padlock symbol. When encryption is active, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

4. Fonts (self-hosted)

The fonts used (Be Vietnam Pro, Erode) are served locally from our server. No connection is made to external font services and your IP address is not transferred to third parties for this purpose.

5. Contact form (Forminit)

For our contact form we use the service Forminit, operated by UXPLUS LTD, 86–90 Paul Street, London EC2A 4NE, United Kingdom. When you submit the form, your details are transmitted to Forminit and forwarded to us from there. According to Forminit, the data is stored with Amazon Web Services in Ireland (EU).

• Data processed: first name, last name, email address, message text.
• Purpose: handling your enquiry and contacting you.
• Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to a contract or pre-contractual measures. Otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in responding to enquiries.
• Data processing: We have concluded a data processing agreement with Forminit in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR. The European Commission has issued an adequacy decision for the United Kingdom.
• Retention period: We delete your enquiry once it has been fully dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations apply.
• Spam protection: We use an invisible “honeypot” field to detect automated spam submissions. No reCAPTCHA is used.

Providing the data is voluntary. Without it, however, we cannot process your enquiry via the form. Alternatively, you can reach us by email.

6. Web analytics (Pirsch)

To understand how our website is used, we use Pirsch Analytics by Emvi Software GmbH, Nickelstraße 1b, 33378 Rheda-Wiedenbrück, Germany. The data is processed on servers in Germany.

Pirsch works without cookies and does not store any information on your device. An anonymous hash that changes daily is generated from the IP address, user agent, date and a random value. The IP address itself is not stored. As a result, you cannot be recognised for longer than 24 hours or across other websites.

• Data processed: page visited, referrer, UTM parameters from the link if present, browser, operating system, device type, screen size, language, approximate country.
• Events: We also count clicks on certain buttons (e.g. “Shop”, “Contact”, “Partner”) and successfully sent contact enquiries. The contents of the contact form are not transmitted to Pirsch.
• Purpose: aggregated reach measurement in order to improve the website.
• Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the statistical analysis and improvement of our website. We do not ask for consent, as no cookies are set and no information is stored on your device.
• Data processing: We have concluded a data processing agreement with Emvi Software GmbH in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR.
• Retention period: The data exists only in anonymised, aggregated form and is deleted once it is no longer needed for analysis.

7. Links to our online shop (Shopify)

Links to our online shop contain so-called UTM parameters (e.g. utm_source=website). They only show from which part of the website the shop was opened and contain no personal data. Data processing in the shop is governed by the shop’s own privacy policy.

8. Your rights

Within the limits provided by law, you have the following rights:

• access to the data stored about you (Art. 15 GDPR)
• rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)
• erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
• restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
• data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
• objection to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR)
